Engine Bay Cleaning
Degreased, rinsed carefully around the electronics, and dressed — so a mechanic (or a buyer) can actually see what they are looking at.
- Starting at
- $79
What this is
A clean engine bay is not vanity. It is how you spot a coolant weep or an oil seep before it becomes a repair, and it is the first thing a used-car buyer opens when they want to decide whether you looked after the car.
The risk is water where water should not go. Alternators, fuse boxes, intakes and exposed connectors get covered before anything is sprayed, and the rinse is controlled — low pressure, targeted, never a pressure washer aimed into a bay.
Finished with a satin dressing on the plastics. Not the wet, greasy look that runs down the block the first time the engine gets hot.
Book this if
- You are selling the car
- It is going in for service or an inspection
- You want to find the source of a leak
- It has never been cleaned under the hood
- Sensitive components covered and protected before any liquid
- Citrus degreaser applied and agitated on build-up
- Controlled low-pressure rinse
- Blow-dry and heat-dry so nothing sits wet in a connector
- Plastics and hoses dressed to a satin finish
- Underside of the hood cleaned
Worth adding
Cheaper bundled onto this job than booked separately — we are already there with the tools out.
Engine Bay
Is it safe on a modern car with all the electronics?
Yes, with the covering and controlled-rinse method. The horror stories come from pressure washers pointed at fuse boxes. We do not do that.
Do you clean hybrid or EV bays?
Hybrids yes, with extra care around the high-voltage components. EVs are mostly a covered frunk and we will look at it case by case — ask when booking.
