Spray-and-wipe carpet cleaners move a stain around and leave the soap behind, which is why the mark comes back darker two weeks later. Extraction is different: hot solution goes into the fiber, agitation breaks the bond, and a vacuum pulls the dirt and the chemical back out together.

Will the stain definitely come out?
Most do. Dye-based stains — red sports drink, some inks, hair color — can permanently alter the fiber, and old sun-faded areas will not come back. We will tell you honestly which category yours is in before you pay for it.
Does extraction damage the carpet?
No. It is the method professional carpet cleaners use in homes, sized down for a vehicle. Done correctly it is gentler than repeated scrubbing.
How long until it is dry?
Touch-dry when you collect it, fully dry within a few hours with the windows cracked. Do not park it sealed in a garage overnight while it is still damp.
