Detailing
in Columbia
Columbia is thirteen miles up US-63 and our single biggest source of work. It is one road with no turns, so a Columbia booking costs you nothing in travel — we make the drive, and the difference between a proper detail and a wash tunnel turns up at your door.
A lot of that work is student and university-related, and it is seasonal in a way that is worth planning around: move-out week in May and move-in week in August are when four years of a car's interior get discovered all at once. Book those ahead — they are the two weeks a year we genuinely run out of slots.
The other Columbia pattern is the leased vehicle. Turn-in inspections are unforgiving about interior condition and utterly indifferent to how much you paid for the car, which makes a pre-sale detail before an inspection some of the best-value money in the process.

about 15 minutes down US-63
We come to you in Columbia — home driveway, apartment lot or workplace parking. Nothing to drop off, nothing to collect.
Every job travels to Columbia — we arrive with our own water and power. Ceramic coatings and heavy paint correction need shelter and dust-free cure time, so for those we work in your garage or under cover.
How we work →Columbia drivers ask
Do you detail cars in Columbia?
Yes. Columbia is about 13 miles from us — about 15 minutes down US-63 — and we come to you, so the distance is ours to cover rather than yours. There is no call-out fee inside the service area.
What is the difference between a car wash and a detail?
A wash cleans the outside of a car in ten minutes. A detail is a deep clean of surfaces and materials — carpet extracted rather than vacuumed, leather cleaned and conditioned rather than wiped, paint decontaminated and protected rather than rinsed. It is measured in hours, not minutes, and the result lasts months rather than until the next rain.
How much does car detailing cost in Ashland?
An express interior refresh starts around $89 and a complete interior and exterior detail around $249. Paint correction and ceramic coating are priced after we look at the vehicle, because the honest number depends entirely on the condition of the paint. Every price on this site is a starting price for a normal car — heavy pet hair, smoke or staining are quoted before we start, never added afterwards.
How long will my car be with you?
An express interior is about ninety minutes. A full interior is three to four hours, a complete detail five to seven, and a ceramic coating needs the car overnight for a controlled cure. Most jobs are same-day drop-offs.
Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?
We come to you — all of it. We arrive with our own water and power, so nothing is needed at your end. Ceramic coatings and heavy paint correction are the two jobs that need shelter and dust-free time, so for those we work in your garage or under cover and the car stays put while it cures. We will say so when you book, not when we arrive.
How often should a car be detailed?
A full detail once or twice a year, with a lighter maintenance visit every one to three months in between. In mid-Missouri the two that matter most are a spring extraction to get road salt out of the carpet and a sealant before bug season.
Will detailing remove scratches from my paint?
Light swirls and wash marring, yes — that is paint correction, and it removes the defect permanently by levelling the clear coat. If your fingernail catches in the scratch, it has gone through the clear coat and no amount of polishing will fix it; that needs paint.
