Add-ons
Every one of these is cheaper bundled onto a detail than booked on its own, for a boring reason: the car is already washed, already disassembled, already in front of us. The labor that makes them expensive as standalone jobs has already happened.
We will suggest the two or three that fit what your car actually needs. We will not read you the whole list.
Protection
Applied while the surface is genuinely clean — which is the only time any of them actually work.
Ceramic Coating Upgrade
From $499Already having the paint corrected? Coat it while it is perfect.
The expensive part of a ceramic coating is the decontamination and polishing underneath it — and if you are booking correction or a full detail, that is already happening. Adding the coating at that moment costs a fraction of booking it as its own job later, and it locks in the finish you just paid for instead of letting six months of washing undo it.
Paint Sealant Upgrade
$49Four to six months of protection instead of six weeks of wax.
A synthetic sealant outlasts a carnauba wax by roughly four times and takes the same ten minutes to apply while the car is already dry and clean. In a climate with summer bug acid and winter salt brine, it is the difference between contamination sitting on top of a barrier and bonding to your clear coat.
Fabric & Carpet Protection
$59The next spill sits on top of the fiber instead of soaking into it.
Applied to carpet and cloth seating immediately after extraction, while the fibers are genuinely clean and open. It gives you the minute or two you need to blot a spill before it becomes a stain. Applied to dirty fabric it seals the dirt in, which is why we only offer it on the back of a shampoo.
Leather Protection Coating
$69A barrier against body oil and denim dye on light-coloured seats.
Light leather turns blue-grey from jeans and tacky from body oil, and both are absorption problems. A protective coating sits on the topcoat and takes the transfer instead, so the seats clean up with a wipe rather than a brush.
Wheel & Tire Ceramic Coating
$149Brake dust rinses off instead of baking on.
Wheels take more abuse than any painted panel — hot brake dust is iron that physically embeds into the finish. Coated wheels shed it in a rinse. The tires get a durable dressing at the same time, so they stay satin black for weeks rather than days.
Glass Coating & Rain Repellent
$59Above about 40 mph you stop needing the wipers.
A hydrophobic coating on the windshield and front side glass beads water off at speed and makes night driving in rain dramatically less tiring. It is one of the few add-ons a customer notices the same evening they collect the car — which is why it is the one people rebook.
Winter Salt Undercarriage Flush
$39Missouri road salt off the frame before it becomes rust.
Salt brine does not rinse off in rain — it wicks into frame rails, brake lines and the seams above the rockers and stays wet. A dedicated undercarriage flush in late winter is the cheapest rust prevention available for a vehicle you intend to keep.
Restoration
Fixes something visibly wrong. These are the ones people photograph afterwards.
Headlight Restoration
$69 as an add-onYellow lenses back to clear while we are already there with the tools out.
Cheaper bundled than booked alone, because the wash and mask work is already done. It is also the single change that most makes an older car read as looked-after from the front — and it measurably improves how much light reaches the road.
Exterior Trim Restoration
$79Grey, chalky plastic trim brought back to black — and sealed there.
Faded bumper trim, mirror caps and roof rails make an otherwise clean car look a decade older. A dressing lasts one rain; a proper trim restorer bonds to the plastic and holds for a year or more. On black-clad SUVs and trucks this is the highest-impact eighty dollars on the menu.
Engine Bay Cleaning
$59 as an add-onDegreased and dressed, electronics protected.
Worth it on any car that is being sold and on any car going in for service, because it is how a leak gets spotted early. Bundled onto another job it is an hour and costs less than booking it alone.
Glass Polishing (Wiper Haze)
$89Removes the arc of etched haze old wipers leave on the windshield.
Worn wiper blades drag grit and etch a fine arc into the glass that no cleaner touches — you see it as glare at night and in low sun. Machine polishing with a cerium compound removes it. Pairs with the rain repellent, which goes on the polished surface.
Interior
Charged separately because they add real hours, not because they can be.
Pet Hair Removal
$20 light · $60 heavyThe embedded hair a vacuum physically cannot lift.
Two tiers, because a flat rate is wrong in both directions. Light shedding on the seats and carpet is ten minutes with a rubber tool. Hair woven down into the carpet pile, or more than one animal riding regularly, is an hour or more of hand work with rubber and pumice tools — genuinely the most labor-intensive thing in an interior. Splitting it is what stops the customer with one tidy spaniel subsidizing the one with two huskies.
Smoke Decontamination
$90 moderate · $180 heavyEverything a smoker touched, cleaned — not just deodorized.
The job an ozone treatment on its own cannot do. Tar films every hard surface, the vents, the headliner and the seat belts, so all of it gets physically cleaned before any deodorizing happens — belts drawn out to their full length, cabin filter checked on the moderate tier and replaced on the heavy one, then an ozone cycle to finish. Ozone alone on a car that still holds the residue buys about a fortnight before the smell is back, which is the single most common complaint about cheap smoke jobs.
Ozone Odor Treatment
$79Pet, mildew and general odor treated at the source and through the vents.
Run after the interior is clean, with the HVAC on recirculate so the ductwork and evaporator get treated too. Adding it to an interior detail is the version that works — ozone alone on a car that still contains the source buys you about a week. For a smoker’s car this is included in Smoke Decontamination rather than booked separately, because the residue has to come off before the air is worth treating.
Child Seat Removal & Clean
$39 eachOut, cleaned underneath, cleaned itself, and reinstalled.
The carpet under a child seat never gets touched, and the seat itself collects more than anyone wants to think about. We take it out, clean both, and put it back — though we will always ask you to check the belt tension yourself afterwards, because that is your call to make, not ours.
Cabin Air Filter Replacement
Part at cost + $20The reason the vents smell, on most cars that smell.
Ten minutes on most vehicles and frequently the actual source of a musty cabin. We charge the part at cost and twenty dollars for the labor, because trying to make money on a filter is how you lose a customer who prices it later.
Headliner Spot Cleaning
$49Stains out of the roof lining without soaking the adhesive.
Headliner is fabric glued to foam board, and saturating it is how a sagging headliner starts. It needs a dry-ish, low-moisture method and patience. That is why it is a separate line rather than something to attempt on any interior with a mark on the roof.
Ongoing
The things that stop the car ever needing a rescue detail again.
Standing Refresh Plan
From $59/moA standing Refresh every month at member pricing — the car never gets bad again.
A recurring Refresh on a schedule — cleaning only. Not to be confused with the Kept Plan, which is vehicle management and includes no cleaning at all. A scheduled wash and interior touch-up costs a fraction of the rescue detail it prevents, and it is the only reliable way to protect an expensive correction or coating from being undone by tunnel washes.
Gift Cards
Any amountDetailing is the gift people never buy for themselves.
Any amount, redeemable against any service. Strongest in December and around graduations, Mother's Day and Father's Day — and they bring in a customer who was never going to find you on their own.
No surprises on the invoice
Anything that will change the price gets quoted before the work starts. Heavy pet hair, smoke damage, a stain that needs three passes — you hear the number first and decide.
If an add-on will not do what you are hoping it will do on your particular car, we will say so and not sell it to you. That is a slower way to run a business and a much better way to still have customers in five years.
